    I have went barefoot all my life except in public places and never had any trouble with my feet but those I know wearing shoes all the time are always complaining of foot problems. I think this issue of running with or without shoes is finally over.

    Is too much sitting as bad as too little exercise?

    Yes sitting hampers the body's ability to function properly. Anyone who sits for several hours is just as much at risk for many problems the same as someone who does not exercise.
